CLASS SCHOLARSHIP
The Lexington High School Class of 1976
has been established with an initial contribution of $5,000. Applicants must be
a descendant of a LHS graduate. The fund is administered by the Town of
Lexington under the Trustees of Public Trust. A committee composed of members
of the Class of 1976 shall annually determine the recipient of the scholarship.
Gifts may be added to
the principal at any time. Your donation is tax deductible and we can also
accept appreciated stock. Many employers match contributions and if you are
contributing, we would urge you to check with the HR department to see if the
company will match your contribution.
Contributions should be made payable to:
LHS Class of 1976 Scholarship Fund and mailed to:

9 Hancock Street
Lexington, MA 02420
We are looking for classmates who would be
willing to serve on the Scholarship Committee. Serving would involve reviewing
applications, voting on recipients, possibly attending the award ceremony, and
helping with fundraising. It is anticipated that there would be approximately
2-3 meetings per year, mostly March – May. Ability to be present in Lexington
for those meetings would be important.
If you have any questions or would like to
serve on the Scholarship Committee, please call Dawn at 781-862-8777.
